How cool is the galvanized ? thing in the photo above with the old tintypes on the front! Love it!
I wonder what goodies I missed in the South building? I may have to make the trek back down next month!
~It's all about the thrill of the hunt and cruisin' backroads searching for rusty gold. Rummaging for cool pieces of antiquity is only part of the adventure. Next comes the challenge of re-purposing into new creations with updated functionality. Favorite finds are architectural iron, wood salvage, industrial, lighting fixtures, automobilia, farm salvage, and old hardware. But the real story, which always transcends the pickin', is about the interesting people and the unique places discovered along the way!~

I would have gone crazy in a place like this...I want it all. Love that table with the metal patches and the galvanized treasure is fabulous with those tin types. Thanks for sharing!

Love the oak table with the metal patches. Reminds me of antique make dos with their metal staples holding glass or bone china together.
Thank you for the fun browsing! It didn't cost me a penny, hehe! ALTHOUGH if I HAD been there I would have needed my truck!!!

wow! What a treasure trove of items. Love the industrial look. It is not a big part of my home but I like a touch of it here and there. I always think of it in a Soho loft or a spare living area. Love it! xo Diana
I am editing this to add. Do you know that you have double word verification on? I have tried to post twice now and not been able to read the letters. Just thought maybe you didn't know it is on. I will try posting again~
Love those garden art pieces. Wow, lots of fun stuff.Smiles, Susie(She Junks)
I miss doing Scott market.
The metal thingy that you thought would make a great light, is a fish scaler. Put you fish in it, pull it behind the boat and it scaled the fish for you! Gross! Right?
