I feel like Edward Scissorhands...but with wire cutters instead! Above is a tall photo/sign holder display stand (I also made a wire bird cage that can hang from it) |
I try to create things with at least some sort of functionality |
This was a fun use of little metal flowers that I had salvaged from a lamp, but making the wire cloche frame took a really long time. |
I might try mounting these on wood molding for added interest and stability, but they are so easy to just hang on hooks or walls like this. |
Bees are fun for spring....but functional? maybe not so much. I greatly appreciate the kind encouragers and amazing purchasers of my sassy products on Etsy and at shows! |

Hey stranger...you know I am one of your biggest fans! I love the bees! I would stick them in a potted plant...hope to see you at the Vintage Marketplace in March. Thanx for sharing, Tiffany
These look so interesting to me.
I like the bent wire art you're making. I have made some very simple plate hangers for my wall. I also made a similar one for an old painting I found in my Granny's trunk. They are not as fancy as yours though! I love the leaf and flower motifs you've shown here.
I may have to dabble in this a little bit!

How very cute! I LOVE those bees! xo Diana
Impressive!! I tried making a wire cloche once and it was soooo hard. Love all your beautiful wire works! :)
Oh my goodness, the bird cage is incredible..and the little bees are too cute! Tamara x
Your work is always so joyful. Hope all is well with you and your family.
I love everything you do, you are an inspiration...any clues on how to motivate during the winter while the winds are howling and the snow is flying...have I mentioned that winter sucks!!!
Still working on that trip to Florida, especially now that I have my 'pull'...can't wait to start pimping it, as soon as the door thaws out...lol...
LOve LovE this wire art...takes a true artist's mind to create this art form!
We've been virtually "hitting the flea" with our Armchair Junking series over at The Junk Drunk. Check out our recent post with a Book Ends round up, with a link to our recent Coffee Table round up as well. I hope you all like it!

These are so creative and unique - what kind of wire do you use for these projects?
OOOH, I am loving your wire sculptures! I have been thinking of playing with wire, but you have the knack. Maybe I'll give it a try. Keep on inspiring us!
Hugs,
Sherry
I love your eye for wire sculpture. You have a really great way of making it interesting with asymmetry, but bringing it all together in a beautiful way!
