Lakewood dealer spotlight.......

Meet Jan Jones, an artist who sets up across the aisle from Margaret (in the previous post). I knew Jan's work from years ago when she was doing architectural and furniture collage and mosaics....she works in ALL media, and I love her new collages above........

She will take your photos and adapt them in so many different ways, from jewelry.......

to memory boxes showcasing family keepsakes......

Her contact information is janjonesdesign@windstream.net, and www.janjonesdesign.com. and you can find her in the center of hall G at the Lakewood show every third weekend of the month.

Oh, what pretty things! Where is the Lakewood show? I must make a field trip for one of those! Your pictures are lovely, and you have highlighted the most delightful objects.

Have fun! Sherry

Nice not to drive an hour north every 30 minutes to see what's up at the market! Great stuff. Gotta get up there soon. Thanks for the great blog. :)

Boy, this gal really has the creative touch. I love the use of the green, that is one of my favorite shades of green, used to use it all the time!

Makes me dream of Spring...it's coming!!!

When I first saw Lakewood, I thought you were in Washington..but to my disappointment you're in Georgia! Oh well, I really enjoy your blog and will be adding it to mine so I can visit frequently!

Hey, Nancy, I am planning to do Lakewood. Not so much stuff this time though, I am sure I will be a zombie, by the time for TX. Oh well, I will be running on adrenilin anyway. I'm so excited because the Woodstock girls asked me to decorate a space in their store. So if its too cold at least I can still get rid of some stuff. Hope you have a great weekend. See you soon, lauri

Sold my first piece of gray today at Sisters', a gal from New Jersey that is totally into the French gray look, you oughta try it and see how it goes. Sometimes I sand, sometimes not, sometimes I use a wash, sometimes not, it's so new here in Iowa, we're so far behind the rest of the universe, guess that's why I call us the lost continent...or the land that time forgot...kinda like it that way though!

I just love experimenting!!!

Hey Sassytrash! I absolutely LOVE all of your work. You are definitely a right-brained individual. I wrote a post about your artwork on my blog, The Modern Jane, and pictured your fairy lampshade-- hoping to send some people your way who will adore everything. Are you, perchance, an etsy seller?
