Using a vintage frame, I gathered and shaped my wire branches around the inside to create a tree shape with roots along the bottom-- to make a new version of jewelry holder.
It could also be used to hang photographs, or display interesting vintage collections, but a jewelry holder seems the most practical application.
It needed a bit of something at the bottom, so I made a wire nest to hold watches or ??
Be still my beating heart. This is absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE IT!!!

ReplyDeleteYour artwork is always amazing! I was at The Landing in Shakopee, Mn. where they had all kinds of old artwork, like birds carved out of soft wood...and various artwork using human hair, in shapes of flowers and such....I've seen some of that before...it's awesome to see how they used everything back then....you can do amazing things with the stuff around you!
ReplyDeleteYou are a wire wizard...love it!
