  2. What a beautiful old house. I can imagine she would have quite the tale to tell if she could talk, don't you think? I love to look at old houses and imagine the life they have led back when they were brand new and so very loved. I would love to know the story of my house, it's over 80 years old. Hugs, cindy s

I just can't get enough of the back roads, wondering what their lives must've been like...a shoe tree and a coon dog cemetery...how Southun is that!!!

I'm comin' right down...we can be the next American Pickers...GIRLS gone wild...ha!

  4. Great pictures - love the houses, architecture, fences, signs, everything! Doesn't look creepy at all to me, looks like it is aging a little bit gracefully and looks loved!

  6. I am a sucker for old houses. I TRIED to restore an old farmhouse, vintage 1863. Still in progress waiting for my energy to return. When I see old places like this all I can think is, I hope some smart person with lots of muscle and cash adopts it. I hate to see these old places torn down. So many have gone away in our town over the last ten years. Love your side trips.
