When I dropped my silver teapot at the last show and broke the feet, I remembered something I had seen a few years ago, where a teapot (can't remember what else was on it--forks and spoons, I think) was used for a wind chime. I had a lot of orphaned salt and pepper tops, too, so they became the chimes.....it makes such a wonderful delicate sound!

What a clever way to recycle that teapot! I think it's very rustic and would be great to hang in a porch or garden. Certainly different from these wind spinners that are more modern in design.

Using the teapot as an anchor for all of the little bells at the end is such a great idea. It looks like it would go so well in a classic home with a more rustic feel. Do the little bells make any noise when there's a breeze?

I love how you used old silver to make some unique wind chimes. I enjoy finding little odds and ends around the house to make them into fun crafts. I found some old scrap metal and fashioned them into butterfly wind chimes.

That is so creative! I never would have thought of using bells for wind chimes. I don't know where you found that tea kettle, but it looks amazing. The gold color works really well with the dark wood surrounding it. I'm a chimes fan so I can appreciate this.
