Moving in..........before pics

Well....this is as far as we got the first day of setting up our new shop at Queen Of Hearts in Buford. (Basically, we just dumped our first load of stuff in there!) This is going to be interesting for us since we have NO plan!! We're just hoping it all comes together when we get everything in.

Our booth (11x16) is right across from the desk as you come in the door~a fabulous space~ and it has great peg walls, ledges and rafters to work with. It is also nice and bright from the front windows.

I really wanted to decorate with something DIFFERENT than the standard vines, burlap, beige, white, French theme, ephemera, etc etc.........but we couldn't figure it out, so we had to get started without anything for now!

I don't know.....it's going to be really hard to not add vines....I love vines! And tree branches.....don't you think it needs some tree branches on top?

Those exposed beams just call out for vines or branches or both. Good luck setting up your both. Can't wait to see pics when it's finished.

I've never been to The Queen of Hearts in Buford. I alsways go to Alpharetta. Now I will have a new stop! Are you going to stay at Lakewood, too? If so, pray tell...how do you do it?? I have a couple of booths in Tuscaloosa and I'm constantly whining about trying to keep them filled. Do you have a partner/partners? Not to give away your secrets, but what is your primary source of finds? Sorry, I just need a little encouragement! Sue@awelllovedhome.com

Hi there,

Yes I agree it needs some texture. I like the branches idea. What about rusty bed springs, screen doors, curly willow. Don't be afraid to mix it up too!!!
Good luck

If you're asking me...I'm a sucker for grapevine or honeysuckle. Never get tired of it...never. What a great space to work with. I know it'll come together beautifully!
