~It's all about the thrill of the hunt and cruisin' the backroads looking for the next great pick. Rummaging through barns, flea markets, shops and yard sales to find lost treasures is only part of the adventure. Next comes the challenge of restoring and re-purposing them into new creations with updated uses. My favorite finds are architectural salvage, industrial pieces, unusual light fixtures, and vintage hardware. But the real story, which always transcends the pickin', is about the interesting people and the unique places discovered along the way!~

It all looks gorgeous...loving the pink. Do me a favor...would you give Laurie, my favorite southern baked a ham, a kiss and a hug from me. I think she needs it and long distance ones just aren't as good!

Love the pink fireplace mantel. So the rain stopped in your neck of the woods but it's giving us 12 to 18 inc of snow up here in MD.
Enjoy your weekend.
Merry Christmas,
Melissa
Good luck! It looks wonderful and what a sweet little one from your previous post.
Take care,
Kathleen

Ditto on the hug and a smooch for Laurie from Iowa...and yes, my Lori would flip her gourd over the pink mirror and fire place surround...I'm not a pink person, even though I live in a pink shack, my colors are warm earth tones...you know, the color of dirt!!!
Y'all down there where it's warm(er) have a wonderful holiday too(and a great show) and we'll see ya next year...God willin' and the creek(crick) don't rise!!!
The problem with puttin' on the chains to get here is no big deal...but have ya ever heard the song 'Stranded in Iowa'...not a pretty picture...till April anyway...see ya in the spring...HA!
Wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year :)
Crazy about the fireplace mantle. I'm looking or a cheapo one to use as a display in my booth. Do you have any you want to unload? Sea Witch
